Javi Gracia has said Osasuna’s victory over Getafe puts them a little closer to avoiding relegation this season.
The Pamplona club beat their Madrid-based opposition 2-0 through goals from Oriol Riera and Robert Torres.
Riera scored in the seventh minute but Osasuna had to wait until two minutes from time to confirm the three points.
“We don’t win by simple means,” Gracia told his post-match Press conference.
“We do it with hard work, sacrifice and a dose of luck, but on many occasions these circumstances arise. We’re on our way to safety now.
“We’re giving a lot to stay up and there are many points still at stake.
“It’s all very tight and you have to keep working and stay confident.”
