Pep Guardiola has rubbished suggestions that Javi Martinez could leave Bayern Munich for Real Madrid.
Reports in the Spanish Press on Friday claimed that the midfielder would be a target for Los Blancos in the summer.
But the Bavarian side’s Coach has insisted that as long as he’s at the Allianz Arena, the Spain international is going nowhere.
“As long as I’m Bayern coach, Javi Martínez will stay here,” he told a Press conference.
The former Athletic Bilbao then commented to Sport Bild on the World Cup.
“We all want to win the World Cup again, but I know that the Germans will do everything they can to snatch the trophy away from us.
“It would be great to come up against my team-mates from Bayern Munich.”
