Line-ups: Barcelona-Malaga

Lionel Messi starts for Barcelona this evening as they prepare to face Malaga at Camp Nou, looking to go back to the top of La Liga.

A win in the Catalan capital would see the Blaugrana back ahead of Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid.

And they will do so with the Argentine forward, who starts alongside Alexis and Pedro. Sergio Busquets, Xavi and Cesc Fabregas are named in midfield after Andres Iniesta was omitted.

Whilst at the back, Tata Martino can call upon his preferred back four.

Malaga meanwhile, have named a fairly conservative line-up, opting to field Roque Santa Cruz up top on his own, with Duda, Pablo Perez and Juanmi in support.

Barcelona: V. Valdes; D. Alves, Pique, Mascherano, J. Alba; Xavi (C), Busquets, Fábregas; Alexis, Messi, Pedro.

Malaga:  Willy; Angeleri,S.Sánchez,Flávio,Antunes; Juanmi,Camacho,Tissone,Duda (c); P.Pérez, Santa Cruz
