Sergi Roberto thought Barcelona ‘reacted well’ to Levante’s defensive tactics on Wednesday night, as they ran out 4-1 winners.
The Blaugrana beat the Granotes in the Copa del Rey first leg thanks to a hat-trick from Cristian Tello.
Despite that though, the midfielder was slightly annoyed that he didn’t get on the scoresheet himself.
“We knew that we were going to play against a defensive team, but we reacted well,” he told reporters.
“Taking the lead was crucial, it opened up more space for us.
“Personally, I should have shot twice but I passed instead, but the important thing is that the team won.”
“I’m very pleased that Tata Martino has confidence in me.”
