Fabio Coentrao’s rumoured move to Manchester United is not likely to happen, according to reports.
The Real Madrid defender has been heavily linked with a switch to the Premier League side this month.
However, respected Spanish journalist Guillem Balague has claimed that the Portugal international will only leave Santiago Bernabeu in January if a bid of £20m is offered.
Writing for Bleacher Report, Balague claims that the Old Trafford would have to table an offer of around €25m to get the full-back.
That, he insists, is not likely to happen, meaning that Coentrao will stay with Carlo Ancelotti’s side.
The former Benfica man has failed to establish himself in the Blancos XI this season, falling behind Marcelo in the pecking order.
