Luis Garcia thought Sevilla were ‘much better’ than his Getafe side as they went down 3-0 on Sunday.
Goals from Carlos Bacca, Ivan Rakitic and Vitolo gave the Rojiblancos all three points at Ramon Sanchez Pizjuan.
“Sevilla were much better than us,” he told a Press conference.
“People think we can compete with Sevilla, Valencia and Athletic Bilbao, but we can’t.
“With our budget, it’s impossible to do that – but we are happy with what we have.
“Now we have to focus on the next game against Rayo. It’s vital that we end the first round of fixtures with three points.”
