Lionel Messi returned to Barcelona on Thursday evening and took a full part in that day’s second training session.
The Argentine has been out of action since mid-November, when he suffered a torn muscle in the back of his thigh.
However, after an extensive recovery period, which has included a month back in Argentina, the 26-year-old yesterday returned to training to take a full part in the evening session.
Messi worked alongside Neymar, Alex Song, Alexis Sanchez and Javier Mascherano, who all made yesterday’s morning session also, whilst Dani Alves remained absent with a fever.
