Cristian Tello’s agent is believed set to meet with Barcelona sporting director Andoni Zubizarreta soon to discuss rumoured offers from Liverpool and Valencia.
The winger has been linked in recent days with a temporary switch out of the Camp Nou this January due to struggles in the first half of the season for regular playing time.
Liverpool were strongly paired at the start of this week with being on the verge of agreeing a deal to take the 22-year-old temporarily, whilst Valencia have similarly been seen as probing the player’s environment.
Superdeporte see Tello as open to considering a move away and the situation as now in the hands of Barcelona, who are believed yet to decide on his future.
It is reported, though, that the player’s agent will shortly meet with Zubizarreta to discuss the circumstances and detail the offers apparently on the table, including those said to have come from Liverpool and Valencia.
The Anfield side’s manager, Brendan Rodgers, however, has looked to play down his club’s interest in Tello.
