Jordi Alba has commented on his belief that Lionel Messi is: “happy at Barcelona, as all the players are.”
The 26-year-old’s outburst at Javier Faus after the Vice-President’s recent comments on his contract situation have been followed by continuing talk of possible interest in the star from other clubs.
Paris Saint-Germain have been listed in France as ready to make a move, but following on from reports in Spain that the player is settled in Catalonia, one of his teammates has looked to make clear the situation.
“He is happy at Barca, as all the players are,” Alba has told reporters today.
“This is a great club that cares very much.
“Whether he is awarded the Ballon d’Or or not, Messi is the best player in the world and there will not be another like him.”
