Luis Garcia says that Getafe must believe like Girona that a next round meeting with Barcelona is a ‘jackpot’.
The Madrid side host the Segunda Division side this Tuesday evening in the second leg of their Round of 32 Copa del Rey clash.
With a Last 16 meeting likely against Barcelona up for grabs, Getafe’s Coach has called on his team to see out their opponents, who they are currently level 1-1 with from the first leg.
“It is level, a little in our favour because we have drawn away from home, but it is matched,” Garcia has asserted to reporters today.
“It is a dangerous, difficult game and, if we do not play a good game, against a motivated and intense opponent, then we will face difficulties.
“I was talking to their Coach, to their assistant, and for them it is a great motivation and a prize if they can face Barcelona.
“For them it is the jackpot. We have to think the same. We have to play to the maximum. Otherwise, we will suffer.
“The important thing is that we work, at 3-0, 1-0, level in extra-time, whatever.”
