Bayer Leverkusen sporting director has claimed that his side ‘deserved’ to beat Real Sociedad.
The German side claimed a 1-0 win over the Basque outfit this evening thanks to a goal from Omer Toprak.
“We entered this game with a lot of confidence and knew that we would have a chance to win,” he told reporters.
“In the end we deserved the victory.
“I’ll be having a cigar and a glass of red wine to celebrate.”
