Real Sociedad Jokin Aperribay believes that the club have ‘learned a lot’ from their Champions League campaign.
The Basque outfit lost 1-0 to Bayer Leverkusen on Tuesday to end the group stage without a win.
“We hope to be back [in this tournament soon]. We hadn't played in it for ten years before this season,” he told reporters.
“Just a short time ago we were in the second division. We've learned a lot [from the Champions League].
“The experience we've had will be good. We are growing and we have a clear philosophy at the club.”
