The latest reports on Xabi Alonso’s future suggest he is after a substantial signing on fee to commit to Real Madrid.
The 32-year-old has seen speculation continue to grow over his future at the Santiago Bernabeu, as he approaches the final six months of his contract with Madrid.
SportYou indicate that Alonso has informed Los Blancos that he is ready to sign on for a further two years at the club, if they pay a premium fee of €10m.
It is believed that this is the amount the midfielder has been offered as a signing on fee from other clubs interested in securing his services for next summer and with whom he can officially negotiate with from January 1, 2014.
