Spanish full-back Marcos Alonso has completed a transfer from Fiorentina to Chelsea.
The 25-year-old is a product of the Real Madrid youth academy and has signed a five-year contract at Stamford Bridge.
“I'm very happy,” Alonso told the Blues’ official website after joining for an undisclosed fee.
“It's a step up in my career and I think this is the perfect place for me to continue developing. It's time for me to win some titles.”
This will be the defender’s third spell in the Premier League, having previously played for Bolton Wanderers and Sunderland.
