Inter’s Colombian midfielder Fredy Guarin is being strongly linked with a move to Barcelona in January, according to AS.
Guarin would give Barca boss Tata Martino more presence in central midfield and the report claims the Argentine has told club President Sandro Rosell it his express wish to bring the former Porto man in during the next transfer window.
However, the Catalans could have a fight on their hands to get hold of the 27-year-old as there has been interest shown in him from the Premier League, with Manchester United, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur all having checked him out in recent weeks.
United boss David Moyes is believed to be particularly keen on Guarin, while Spurs boss Andre Villas-Boas is familiar with the player from his time in charge at Porto.
