Ramos allowed to leave for €65m

Real Madrid will let Sergio Ramos leave the club for a fee of €65m, according to reports in the Spanish Press.

Radio station Cadena SER have insisted that President Florentino Perez has put the price-tag on the Spain international after the pair become embroiled in a row this week.

The defender, reportedly, has asked for a new contract at Santiago Bernabue, but the club’s chief has stood firm, telling that the player that he can leave, but only if a team come in with the release clause.

Journalist Jose Ramon de la Morena told the ‘Larguero’ programme that Ramos asked the President: “Can I leave if I come to you with 65 million euros?” “You can go wherever you want,” Perez replied. When Ramos asked if that included a move to arch rivals Barcelona, his Pérez answered: “Yes, Barça too.”
