Carles Puyol claimed Ajax were ‘more intense’ than Barcelona as the Dutch side won 2-1 in Amsterdam.
"Ajax were a lot more intense than us,” he told reporters after a game that saw the home side go down to 10-man on 47 minutes, but still win.
“In the first half they were far better, and you can't give one half away in Europe.”
