Bojan Krkic’s father believes that the forward’s performances on loan at Ajax have shown he is capable of playing once more for Barcelona.
The 23-year-old is into a third season away from the Catalans on loan, following up spells with Roma and Milan with an initial year-long agreement at the Amsterdam ArenA for 2013-14.
For the player’s father, what he has produced so far in the Netherlands is encouraging enough to suggest a possible return to the Camp Nou isn’t out of the question.
“From a technical viewpoint, I believe that with his games, Bojan has demonstrated himself at a level that he can play for Barca,” Bojan Krkic Sr mused on Esports Cope this week.
“He is currently very happy at Ajax, he is enjoying it at Ajax. His present is here and he does not mind staying here longer than the current contract signed.”
Bojan has been out of action since late September with a knee injury and is only due to return to training after this week’s meeting between Ajax and Barcelona in the Champions League.
