No rush for Bruno’s Villarreal

Villarreal captain Bruno Soriano has reflected on his team’s tremendous start to the season, but says Marcelino’s men are in no rush.

The Yellow Submarine sit fourth in La Liga with 27 points on their return to the top flight and Bruno, who scored the first goal from the penalty spot in the 3-0 win over Levante at the weekend, says he is very happy with the situation.

“I’m very pleased because the team is doing really well at the moment, but we are in no rush. Against Levante it wasn’t easy because they are team that always fights to the end, but it was a victory that gave us strength,” he told a Press conference.

The 29-year-old, who has been with Villarreal his entire professional career, says the clash with Malaga at El Madrigal on Friday night is now the only thing he is concentrating on.

“We’re just thinking of winning at home and taking all three points. To be thinking of anything else would be a huge mistake,” he offered.
