Former Celta Vigo striker Iago Aspas is reportedly looking to leave Liverpool in the January transfer window on loan.
The Anfield outfit only picked up the 26-year-old from Celta in the summer for a fee in the region of €9m, but Deportes 7 Valencia have suggested this week he is planning an early exit.
Whilst recently ruled out for five weeks with a thigh injury, it is speculated that the player is after the move to guarantee regular first-team football.
On from a promising start to his career in England and ahead of the injury, Aspas had dropped to the bench under Brendan Rodgers and from six appearances for Liverpool yet to has a goal to his name.
Aspas’ debut season in La Liga last year saw him attract a number of admirers, with Reading and Chelsea linked last January, and Valencia believed at one stage to have wrapped up a deal.
The forward did comment just a week before picking up his injury that he was finding it ‘hard to get a game’ at the club.
