Carlos Tevez believes that Juventus must defeat Real Madrid at least once in the next two games to boost their Champions League hopes.
The Bianconeri are in the Spanish capital this evening looking for a first win in the competition’s group phase.
In then hosting Madrid in Turin in two weeks’ time, it is a double-header in Group B that Juve’s No 10 has identified as key.
“I think we need to win one of the games against Real Madrid in order to qualify from the group,” commented Tevez in today’s edition of Tuttosport.
“It doesn’t matter whether that comes at the Bernabeu or at home.
“I’ve already played at the Bernabeu with Manchester City and the atmosphere will certainly be hot. But we go there with no fear – that doesn’t exist in football.
“Real are always Real. They have incredible potential, they are an institution – just like Manchester United.
“Not taking into account their current form, Madrid are still a great team whom I respect.”
