Jonny Evans says that the pressure will be on Manchester United to get a result against Real Sociedad on Wednesday.
The Red Devils welcome the San Sebastian outfit to Old Trafford this midweek for the third matchday of the Champions League group phase.
Whilst it is La Real chasing their first points of the European campaign and United joint top of Group A with four points, Evans believes that the English side’s domestic form has the pressure on them.
“We're disappointed, yes. Our own performance hasn't been up to scratch, especially in possession,” Evans considered to reporters today.
“We've been quite sloppy and we haven't been controlling games as well as we would have liked. I think Southampton probably controlled the game a bit better than we did.
“The onus is on us. We know we haven't played well enough as individuals or as a team. We want to make sure we raise our performance and produce better performances.”
