Luis Garcia was left very happy with Getafe’s win away to Espanyol, in a game he admitted that either side could have won.
The Madrid outfit picked up a 2-0 result at Cornella-El Prat thanks to two second-half finishes from Adrian Colunga.
“We have matched the intensity of a great team,” enthused Garcia post-match.
“We have been at he same level and we have shown a good image of ourselves.
“We have seen that the game was wide open. They could have won, but it was possible that we could have and that is how it turned out.
“I am very happy with the players. I am satisfied with the balance of points we have achieved so far in the league.
“We have shown that Getafe are a serious team.”
