Luis Garcia enthused at what he saw as a convincing and ‘controlled’ win by Getafe over Celta Vigo on Thursday night.
Los Azulones saw goals either side of half-time from Lisandro Lopez and Alvaro Arroyo secure a 2-0 win and move the Madrid side halfway up the table.
“The win was fair,” stated Coach Garcia afterwards.
“We have been in control throughout the match and we have made few mistakes. We certainly had more control of the game for a long time. The players have worked well, I’m very, very happy.
“Our goals came at important moments in the match, but in the first half it was from just the one chance, whilst in the second we had many dangerous opportunities.
“We should have won with a greater scorelines, but we have had good rhythm, we put a lot of intensity into this and this is the line that we have to follow.”
