‘Madrid more than Bale, Ronaldo’

Miguel Marcos Madera, Michel, has warned Getafe that they will have to look out for more than just Cristiano Ronaldo and Gareth Bale in Week 5.

The Madrid side travel across town to the Santiago Bernabeu to face rivals Real Madrid this Sunday evening very much as underdogs and with the game’s two most expensive players to confront.

“Without doubt, Bale and Cristiano are two exceptional players,” Michel considered to reporters today.

“Bale I came across when in England [at Birmingham City] and he has risen greatly. Currently he is without a preseason, but the quality he has is not normal.

“Cristiano, there are no words. But it is Madrid, as a whole. We have to be careful with everyone. Cristiano, Modric, Isco, anyone.

“We have to do our job. We have to have that aggressiveness that we have now regained.”

The midfielder was speaking in reference to Los Azulones picking up their first win of the season in Week 4 at home to Osasuna.

“I think we had failed in that respect up until then. As a team we have taken a step up in aggressiveness in the field and it was noticed the other day against Osasuna.

“If we continue in this direction, the results will come. We have the quality.

“This weekend will be very difficult. Our previous week was tough. We were not good. Results hadn’t arrived and the mood counted for a lot. We will try to give our best [this weekend].

“The truth is that it is difficult to pick up some points. The important thing is in not conceding. We’ll see what happens in the game, but a point would be good.

“It will be very difficult, but who knows what can happen.”
