Indications from training have been that Cesc Fabregas will replace Xavi Hernandez in Barcelona’s midfield tonight against Ajax.
Fabregas started on the bench for the weekend win over Sevilla, but speculation is that he will come into the first team for tonight’s Champions League opener at the Camp Nou.
Signs from training suggest that the former Arsenal man will be starting in midfield alongside Sergio Busquets and Andres Iniesta, with Xavi dropping to the bench.
Meanwhile, it is also believed that Tata Martino will keep faith with Alexis Sanchez in attack, over Pedro Rodriguez, whilst Lionel Messi and Neymar keep their places also.
