Llorente ‘weighing up options’

Reports in Spain have it that Fernando Llorente is already weighing up options for a possible January transfer out of Juventus.

The 28-year-old only joined the Italians in the summer having run down his Athletic Bilbao contract, but on from reports of struggles in preseason, has found early opportunities to play limited.

Speculation has already been that Barcelona and Real Madrid are monitoring his situation and today now has Sport suggesting that the player too is already considering a possible exit strategy this January.

With the World Cup on the horizon, Llorente is seen as keen to increase his playing time to win a place in Vicente del Bosque’s squad for Brazil.

Barca and Madrid are both believed early contenders for a move this winter, with Llorente’s good relationship with his international teammates from Spain seen as an advantage, but British reports are also linking the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal and Tottenham with a move too.
