L’Equipe have claimed this afternoon that Manchester United offered €150m for Gareth Bale over the summer.
Carlo Ancelotti intimated in his Press conference on Friday that Tottenham had received a higher offer for the Wales international, but the attacker wanted to sign for Los Blancos.
And according to the French newspaper, the team who tabled the highest bid for Bale was Manchester United.
Chairman Daniel Levy apparently tried to hold out for David Moyes’ men, but the Spurs winger was desperate to join the Santigo Bernabeu team.
