Barcelona starlet Neymar has once again admitted his admiration for Lionel Messi, saying the Argentine is ‘above all’.
The Brazilian signed for the Blaugrana over the summer, and has repeatedly spoken of his respect for the Camp Nou record-breaker.
And the youngster has claimed once more that he is proud to play with the 26-year-old, whilst also commenting on how he has settled in the Catalan capital.
“Messi is above all,” he told reporters. “I admire him, He is my idol. I respect him a lot.
“He has been the best player in the world for four times now, and he’s eager to do it again.
“My life in Barcelona is quiet. But I love how everything is going.
“I love the city, the club and the people I work with. Everything is perfect.”
