Cristiano Ronaldo will miss Portugal’s friendly match against Brazil next week, and will return to Madrid.
The Blancos forward scored a hat-trick in the Seleccao’s 4-2 win over Northern Ireland on Friday night.
But the attacker will not travel to America for the match against the World Cup hosts on Tuesday, as he is not ‘100 per cent fit’.
As such, he will travel back to the Spanish capital to train with Carlo Ancelotti and his coaching staff.
