Real Madrid striker Jese Rodriguez has hailed Los Blancos’ signing of Gareth Bale from Tottenham Hotspur for a world record fee.
The Spanish Under-21 international made his first appearance for Carlo Ancelotti’s team this season, coming on as a 72nd minute substitute for Karim Benzema, and says Bale’s arrival is good news for everyone connected with the club.
“He is a great player who will bring a lot to the club and the team in general. I wish him good luck and hope he can do some great things here.
“On a personal note I was very happy to have played my first game for the team this season and felt good, fresh,” he told a Press conference.
