Ernesto Valverde was disappointed with his Athletic Bilbao side after they lost 3-1 to Real Madrid.
Los Leones went down at Santiago Bernabeu thanks to two goals from Isco and a solitary header from Cristiano Ronaldo.
And the Coach has claimed that his men were outplayed this afternoon, whilst also commenting on rumours that Ander Herrera will join Manchester United.
“I have a very bad feeling after this match,” he told a Press conference. “Not just because of the defeat, but because we weren’t too good.
“I thought we were soft in the first half and didn’t create too many chances.
"[Leaving Herrera out of the starting XI] had nothing to do with the bid from Manchester United, I left him out because I chose the players I thought were best suited to the game.
"I'm not thinking about speaking to him to convince him about anything and I'm not worried about anything else.
“I haven't spoken with the player but what I'm going to repeat is that I don't expect the club to make any moves in the transfer market tomorrow (Monday).
"I do not know what will happen. I want Ander to stay with us, and that is what I expect will happen."
Asked why he thought Herrera would stay, he responded: "It would be harder to explain why I thought he was going to leave."
