Athletic Bilbao boss Ernesto Valverde has included Ander Herrera in his 19-man squad for the game against Real Madrid.
Los Leones face the capital club at Santiago Bernabeu tomorrow afternoon, and the Coach has named the midfielder in his squad, despite an offer from Manchester United on Friday.
“There has been much excitement over the past few days,” he told a Press conference. “But I have spoken with him and he feels good.
“If he is on the list, it is because he can play – if he’s in the starting XI or not is another matter.
“The player has told me he wants to be part of the squad though.
“It’s difficult for me to comment because it is an unusual situation.
