Frank de Boer is happy to face Barcelona and admitted that whilst third in Ajax’s Champions League group would be good, they’ll push for second.
The Dutch side’s Coach, who had a spell as a player at the Camp Nou, has looked ahead to this season’s Champions League group stage draw, which reunites him with his former team, as well as Milan and Celtic.
“I am satisfied,” reflected De Boer to reporters this week.
“They are three great teams and also we have never played in official competition against Barca.
“It will be wonderful for the fans.
“If we can finish third in this group then that will be a good result, but we will fight for second.
“We want to give our all in these six games.”
