Barcelona may be without full-back Adriano for the midweek Supercopa clash with Atletico Madrid through injury.

The Brazilian scored La Blaugrana’s only goal in Sunday evening’s 1-0 win at Malaga, just before a half-time break that he was substituted off during.

Complaining at the time of discomfort in his leg, Barca have confirmed on Monday that the 28-year-old has suffered an overload in the back of his right leg.

The club report that Adriano’s recovery will be assessed in the coming days and that it will mark his availability for Wednesday’s Supercopa de Espana second leg at home to Atletico.

Meanwhile, Barca welcomed back Lionel Messi to training today in a session that saw those involved in yesterday’s match at La Rosaleda put through a lighter recovery workout.
