Mel desperate for first win

Pepe Mel wants his Real Betis side to kick on from their impressive display against Real Madrid last weekend.

The Verdiblancos played well in a 2-1 loss at Santiago Bernabeu, but the Coach is hoping for three points against Celta Vigo.

“It’s always nice to start well,” he told a Press conference. “But we have to try and take the same path that took us to Europe last season.

“And to do that we have to win tomorrow, with all due respect to Celta.

“They did well against Espanyol last weekend and have a great Coach in Luis Enrique. He did well at Barca B but had  bad experience in Rome – all Coaches go through good and bad phases.”
