Mexican side Monterrey have confirmed that striker Dorlan Pabon will be leaving for Valencia.
The Colombian goalscorer has been linked with a move to Los Che over the past few weeks, but the Rayados have revealed that the 25-year-old will join Miroslav Djukic’s men.
“As this is a situation that is covered within a legal framework and international regulations applicable to all FIFA affiliated teams,” a statement on the club’s website read. “The exercise of the clause made by Valencia means it is impossible for to continue counting on Pabon in our team.”
The forward is rumoured to have cost €7m after the Mestalla team triggered a clause in his contract.
