Valencia President Amadeo Salva has confirmed that Aly Cissokho will join Liverpool later on Sunday, pending a medical.
The French defender has been heavily rumoured with a move to Anfield over the past few weeks, with reports suggesting the move had already been completed.
However, Los Che’s chief has insisted that the one-year loan will be signed later this evening.
“Unless something happens during the medical,” he told Cadena COPE. “On Sunday, Cissokho will be a Liverpool player.”
