Real Sociedad boss Jagoba Arrasate said the 2-0 win over Getafe at Anoeta
was a ‘complete’ performance by his players.
Arrasate, who was making his debut as a professional Coach after taking over from Philippe Montanier in the summer, acknowledged it had a been a moral victory before La Real take on Lyon in a Champions League qualifier on Tuesday.
“This game brought us three points and gave us reassurance that the team knows how to compete well. It was a complete performance in which we did many more things right than wrong,” he told a post-match Press conference.
Arrasate insisted he was ‘satisfied’ Real had given a good account of themselves despite losing several players through injury, particularly since representatives from the French outfit were in attendance.
“It was important to get off on a good footing and I’m really pleased with what I’ve seen today,” he asserted.
