Daniel Agger’s agent has claimed that Barcelona have made an offer for the Liverpool defender.
The Denmark international’s representative has insisted that the Blaugrana have bid for the centre-back, but that was quickly rejected by the Premier League.
“We are aware that Barcelona have made an offer for Daniel that Liverpool have rejected.,” Per Steffenson told the Daily Mail.
“Daniel has a contract with Liverpool for the next three years and it would be up to the clubs to agree a fee for his transfer in order for that to change.”
Agger is seen as a Plan B for the Barca, as they focus their attentions on claiming David Luiz from Chelsea.
