Lionel Messi will not play in Barcelona’s final match of their Asian tour because of a thigh injury.
The Blaugrana play a Malaysian XI in Kuala Lumpur this evening, but it has been confirmed that the Argentine goalscorer will not take part.
The 25-year-old has picked up a slight knock in his thigh, and will therefore not be risked.
It is unclear how long the injury will leave Messi sidelined for, but it is thought to not be too serious.
