Lionel Messi has admitted that he gets on well with new signing Neymar, whilst also commenting on Tata Martino’s arrival.
Some, including Johan Cruyff, have questioned whether the Argentine and the Brazilian can play together.
But the record-breaking goalscorer has insisted that he is working well with the new arrival, whilst conceding that the new boss has changed very little since signing.
“The Press asked if there would be a problem between Neymar and I, but there is not,” he told reporters.
“We are getting along well. We’re learning little by little.
“We haven’t played a lot together, but we’re starting to understand each other.
“Every Coach does things differently, but he has not changed much.
“We all want the same thing – and that’s to win what we didn’t last year.”
The 26-year-old the commented on the club’s extensive preseason touring, which currently sees them in Malaysia.
“I do not know if it’s the best way to prepare or not, but we’re out here.
“It seems to be working fine.”
