Manchester United manager David Moyes has commented that negotiations for Barcelona’s Cesc Fabregas are ‘ongoing’.
Moyes has been vocal in his new club’s pursuit of the 26-year-old this summer, confirming twice that the Manchester side have made offers for the midfielder.
Whilst Barca and reports surrounding the Catalans have made clear that they are unwilling to negotiate, reports in England suggest that Fabregas has ‘had his head turned’ by the Premier League side’s interest.
Asked about the prospects of reaching a deal for the former Arsenal player whilst in Japan as part of United’s preseason tour, Moyes offered brief comment: “It is ongoing.”
