The 50-year-old guided the Rosario-based club to the Copa Libertadores semi-final this season, and is seen as a popular choice at Camp Nou, especially with Lionel Messi.
Martino is the footballing hero of Messi’s father Jorge, and could be vital in keeping the goalscorer happy at Camp Nou.
The tactician has recently been linked with Malaga and Real Sociedad, but reportedly turned down moves to Europe in favour of staying in Argentina.
