Bojan Krkic has revealed that a conversation with Johan Cruyff helped convince him to move to Ajax this summer.
The young Spaniard was presented by the Dutch giants this week, having agreed to a one-year loan move from Barcelona.
In front of reporters, the striker admitted that former Barcelona player, Coach and honorary President Cruyff, who has an influential role at his other notable former side Ajax, played a part in sealing the switch.
“He is my Coach for the Catalan national team and I admire him,” Bojan explained this week.
“And I know he is very happy for me.
“I am greatly flattered to play for this great club and when they conveyed their interest I did not hesitate for a single second.
“I am proud to play for a club like Ajax, I love their philosophy and I think things will go well.”
