Lionel Messi has insisted that Barcelona is 'the ideal club' for new signing Neymar.
The Brazil international joined the Blaugrana earlier this summer from Santos, and the Argentine record-breaker has claimed that the young forward did well in choosing the Camp Nou club.
“I’m lucky to play with several world champions at Barcelona, and Neymar is another great player,” he told reporters.
“It’s good that we have another top player, and I think that Barca is the ideal club for Neymar.
“The objective is to win every trophy with Barcelona, and we’ll prepare to do that.
“On top of that, I want to have a good pre-season with the World Cup in Brazil in mind.
“I always try to perform at the highest level and win every trophy. It’s obvious that the World Cup is a dream, but I’m not only thinking about that.”
