Barcelona have confirmed that Santos will be their opponents in this summer’s Joan Gamper Trophy.
The traditional preseason trophy will be played for at the Camp Nou on August 2 with a local time kick-off of 9.30pm, with the Brazilians confirmed today as opponents.
The game will also be a first opportunity for €57m Blaugrana signing Neymar to line up against his former team.
Barca have confirmed that Santos’ participation in the Gamper Trophy is part of an agreement in the 21-year-old’s transfer, and that a second friendly to be played in Brazil is also due to be arranged at a future date.
