Alvaro Morata believes it will now get more difficult for La Rojita having secured a Euro Under-21 Championship semi-final spot.
A 1-0 victory over German secured the Spanish Under-21 side a place in the last four of the competition but the Real Madrid striker, whose has scored both of his country’s goals in the tournament so far, feels teams may now start to get wise to Julen Lopetegui’s men.
“I am very happy because we have won, but it was very hard as our opponents continue to study our game. It becomes more difficult to play with every day that passes.
“I always think t I am the player who can come on and score, and it happened again. However, I do not know how many times this can happen and next time we must try to finish the match earlier.
“Against the Netherlands [in the final group game[ we want to win. It will be an even more difficult game because things become harder as the tournament progresses,” Morata told gathered media.
