Spain Under-21 squad named for Denmark & France

Spain Under-21s have named a strong squad for upcoming games against Denmark and France, including Carlos Soler, Fabian Ruiz and Mikel Oyarzabal.

Fabian joined Napoli from Real Betis over the summer for €30m, while Soler is a regular in midfield for Champions League qualfiiers Valencia and Real Madrid winger Oyarzabal has already debuted for Spain’s seniors.

Other eye-catching names are former Manchester City youngsters Angelino, Pablo Maffeo and Jose Angel Pozo, Real Madrid striker Borja Mayoral – currently on loan at Levante – and Dinamo Zagreb starlet Dani Olmo.

However, Real Madrid defender Jesus Vallejo is out of the squad with yet another injury.

Luis de La Fuente’s side face Denmark on November 14, before taking on France five days later.
