Liverpool are seen as likely to wrap up a move for Celta Vigo forward Iago Aspas in the coming days.
The Premier League side were reported at the end of May as having reached an agreement with the Galicians to transfer the striker to Anfield this summer.
Believed to be paying around €9.5m for his signature, the Reds were also assumed to have primarily agreed a €1.6m salary with the 25-year-old.
Reports in Spain this week have it that the finer points to those numbers have been negotiated, with Celta now understood to be receiving an initial €9m in the operation.
The deal is expected to be announced in the coming days.
